Glam ‘R’ Us Inc Nail Salon Reviews

Hopefully I can save someone some time and money by sharing my experience. The first time I went, I found out they only accept clients by appointment, so I came back the next day for my scheduled appointment. Even then, I waited an hour and a half past my appointment time before I was finally seen. I almost left, and I wish I had trusted my instincts. A young Spanish woman did my nails, but I don't believe she ever even introduced herself. Throughout the appointment, I had to repeatedly ask her to fix things. At one point, I actually took the nail file and tried to shape my own nails because she just wasn't getting the shape I wanted or that the nails were uneven. One week later and my nails are already separated from the acrylic. I try to support Black-owned businesses whenever I can, but unfortunately, the quality of service and attention to detail just weren't there in this case—especially considering the higher prices. I was extremely disappointed. My nails looked unfinished and poorly done. The technician also seemed frustrated every time I asked her to correct something, but if I'm paying for a service, I expect to leave with nails I'm happy with. I still paid my $60 bill, but that could have turned into a loyal, recurring customer. Instead, I'll never return, and I can't recommend this salon based on my experience. I regret going to this place and I regret paying for the crap job.

This was my first time visiting, and I had such a great experience! Parking was easy to find, which was a nice bonus. The salon is small, very cute and had a relaxing atmosphere. I got a pedicure, which was excellent, and a structured gel manicure with a cat-eye design that came out beautiful. Eboni did an amazing job! She was incredibly sweet, friendly, and easy to talk to. One thing I really appreciated was that she gave me a heads-up about the heat spike that can happen with structured gel. I was already familiar with it, but no nail tech has ever taken the time to mention it beforehand. It was a small gesture that showed she genuinely cares about her clients’ comfort and experience. Overall, I left really happy with both the service and the experience. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly and highly recommend this salon!

I recently visited Glam R Us, and I can honestly say I am beyond impressed. First off, the salon itself is absolutely adorable simple, but still with a flare of elegance that makes you feel comfortable and pampered the moment you walk in. The two women I personally dealt with were Eboni and Leydis, and they were both amazing. When I first walked in, Eboni welcomed me warmly. Even though she was already working with another client, she still made sure to acknowledge and attend to me, which I found very impressive. The wait wasn’t long at all, but honestly, even if it had been, my results would’ve been worth every minute. Once Leydis came over, she greeted me with a smile and immediately made me feel comfortable. She was professional, pleasant, and incredibly attentive from start to finish. The salon also offers complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, and water, which was such a nice touch. I was a little anxious coming in because I was transitioning from my previous home-based nail tech, but both Eboni and Leydis made me feel welcomed, embraced, and genuinely cared for during my consultation. We went over all my concerns, things she should know, and things I should know throughout the process. Leydis consistently checked in with me to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it, and anytime something needed to be adjusted, she did it happily and with a smile. One thing I truly appreciated was how educational she was throughout the appointment. She explained what she was doing and why, which made me feel even more comfortable and confident in her work. When it came time to choose my shape and design, I originally picked a tapered square. Leydis kindly suggested a different shape that she felt would complement my hands better, and I trusted her judgment. I’m SO glad I did because she was absolutely right. Her cuticle work is impeccable. While it wasn’t technically a Russian manicure, the level of detail and thoroughness honestly makes it hard to tell the difference. I chose a cat-eye base with French line, and her lines are CRISP. She even asked me what width I preferred for my French line and continuously checked throughout the service to make sure I loved every detail. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this business. The professionalism, hospitality, attention to detail, and quality of work exceeded my expectations. I left feeling beautiful, confident, and genuinely excited to come back. Safe to say Leydis will definitely be seeing me again in 3 weeks!

This is the best nail experience I've had to date. Right when you walk in, you are taken in by sweet aromas. Feels like you are walking into a spa rather than a nail salon. I was served hot tea in a cup with a lid and cookies. The nail file and other tools used was freshly opened and just for me. Salon was clean. Suction and great ventilation took up the acrylic and gel powders during. They clean all round your nails with a nail brush before they start the process and have you wash your hands. They use gloves. Music is calm and relaxing. There is no loud talking, just your hands and feet being rubbed/massaged with exfoliating gel.Massage is included in nail package. I was so sleepy I had to tell my nail tech Ebony my entire life story to stay up, that Is how relaxed and comfortable I was. For my toe color, they actually mixed colors to achieve the same color as my nail. They are patient perfectionists. Pretty much like being in an art school. They were very informative, I was told acrylic is for if you do your nails once in a while. There are other healthier nail options.Your pedicure will not be 15 min but you won't want it to be.What a unique experience! Definitely coming back with everyone I know.

both of these women were very nice and did an amazing job on me and my mom’s nails! Eboni did my mom’s nails and the young woman did mine(i’m sorry i don’t know how to spell her name <3). I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my nails before :)
